Here at little teddies we have a close bond with each of our children and their families. Our staff our highly trained and experienced, and update their knowledge on a regular basis. We offer 5% discount to all parents/carers working for the NHS, and 10% for siblings.
Our nursery ethos is home from home, and we love to ensure all children are happy and developing within our care. We provide our news and events through regular newsletters, website updates and our social media pages.
Whilst our children are with us, we update our parent App and send this out to our parents/carers on a regular basis is, this involves photos and observations, as well as meals/snacks throughout the day.
At our nursery, our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, creating a balance of structured learning and child-led exploration. We support all seven areas of learning through meaningful play, hands-on activities, and warm, responsive interactions. Our staff tailor experiences to each child’s needs and interests, helping them develop communication skills, confidence, independence, and a strong foundation for future learningInfluenced by Reggio Emilia philosophy, we view children as capable learners with endless curiosity. Our environment is carefully designed as a “third teacher,” offering natural materials, open-ended resources, and inviting spaces that spark imagination and discovery. Strong relationships, family partnerships, and thoughtful documentation of each child’s progress ensure every child feels valued, understood, and supported as they grow.
