Little Teddies is a welcoming and nurturing nursery dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care. We aim to create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued, confident, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our setting supports children’s emotional, social, physical, and educational development, helping them to build strong foundations for their future learning.

Our Curriculum

At Little Teddies, our curriculum is carefully planned to meet the individual needs and interests of each child. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring children develop across all seven areas of learning through a balance of structured activities and child-led play.
 
Our approach encourages:

  • Social interaction, independence, and confidence
  • Physical development through both indoor and outdoor activities
  • Emotional well-being and positive relationships
 
We regularly observe and assess children’s progress to ensure learning opportunities are meaningful, engaging, and supportive of each child’s next steps in development.

with their individual needs!

Little Teddies Nursery created a caring and fun filled educational environment by following the Department of Education learning framework, the early years Foundation Stage (EYFS). EYFS offers children an integrated framework which allows the nursery to build development milestones without forgoing the primary goal of creating a non-discriminatory environment which is educational, inspirational and fun for the children. 

Little Teddies Nursery believes that learning should be stimulating for young children, therefore play times are designed to be educational as well as fun, we are continuously developing new and exciting ways of encouraging child development in a safe and inspirational environment. 

Little Teddies Nursery is an Ofsted regulated nursery that provides first class childcare in a warm, friendly and homely atmosphere. We appreciate that each child is unique and take the time to develop a personal relationship with them so that we can best meet their emotional, physical and educational needs. 

Our Team

Our nursery is supported by a team of dedicated, qualified, and caring early years practitioners who are passionate about working with children and families. All staff are committed to providing high standards of care and education, building strong relationships with children, and working in partnership with parents.
