Our open-plan Toddler Room provides a spacious, stimulating environment where children aged 2–3 can freely explore all available resources. The room also includes a dark sensory room, offering a calm haven for story times, relaxation, and sensory experiences.

Following the EYFS Framework, we support development across the seven key areas:

• Understanding the World
• Expressive Arts & Design

 

Our toddler team closely monitors each child’s progress, helping them develop key early skills including:

 

• Independence
• Basic numeracy and literacy
• Early communication
• Forming friendships
• Understanding routines and our nursery Golden Rules:
  Walking Feet, Kind Hands, Kind Words, Listening Ears, Inside Voices, Taking Turns.

 

Toddlers enjoy plenty of outdoor time across both fields, with activities such as tuff trays, slides, tyres, and nature play. We recommend sending spare messy clothes, as children participate in exciting messy play daily!

Each week follows a new theme—such as Winter, People Who Help Us, or Under the Sea—with activities planned accordingly. Toddlers also benefit from weekly football and basketball sessions delivered by external coaches.
